<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a casting and a die temperature adjusting apparatus with which the temperature of the inner wall of a cavity part can be uniformized, a loss upon preheating can be reduced, and the quality of a casting can be uniformized. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing the casting where a product is produced by die casting while adjusting the temperature of a die 2 provided with a movable die 4 and a fixed die 3, in the case of interrupting the die casting, in a state where the movable die 4 and the fixed die 3 are clamped and molten metal is filled therein, heat transfer media are supplied to the movable die 4 and the fixed die 3, and they are kept warm.
