<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce variations in magneto-resistance effect elements. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The magneto-resistance effect element includes: a magnetization fixed layer 1 having extension portions 1A, 1B extending along at least two directions respectively and having a plurality of magnetization facilitation axes which are different from one another along the extending directions of the respective extension portions 1A, 1B; a tunnel barrier layer 2 formed on the magnetization fixed layer 1; and a magnetization free layer 3 formed on the tunnel barrier layer 2 and having variable magnetization direction.
