PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing the occurrence of dust in a returning operation for remaining molten metal which effectively prevents the occurrence of the dust with comparatively little formed quantity of slag when molten steel before a continuous-casting is returned back into a converter as iron source and reused. SOLUTION: A trouble is occurred in a process after continuous-casting, and then, the molten steel in a molten steel ladle arranged on a tundish for continuous-casting machine is stopped to pour into the tundish, and the molten steel remaining in the molten steel ladle, is returned back into a molten iron ladle for holding the molten iron conveying to a converter to prevent the occurrence of the dust from happening at the time of reusing as the iron source for steel-making. As this method, to the molten iron held in the molten iron ladle, the preventing means for occurrence of dust is applied or the remaining molten steel is poured into the molten iron ladle.
