The manually-operated pneumatic vibration-protected impacting machine comprises a shell (1) wherein a body (2) is coaxially arranged so that it may move in an axial direction. A piston (3) is provided in the body (2). Means for feeding a fluid medium are also provided in order to actuate the piston (3) and the body (2) in anti-phase motion in relation to each other in the shell (1). In accordance to the invention, the shell (1) is provided with a connector, whereby it is kinematically connected with the piston (3) and is adapted for the frictional interaction therewith.
