PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent large heat generation while keeping a size small by reducing vexatious complication of an electronic circuit in a battery unit as little as possible.

SOLUTION: An equipment system is composed of a battery-operated electrical device, a battery unit and a battery charger, wherein the battery unit includes a monitoring circuit which detects an operating quantity of the battery unit, and control signal dependent on the operating quantity is transmitted to switch means, thereby the switch means control charging and discharging process of the battery unit. One of the switch means is prepared in the electrical device in order to control power of the electrical device depending on the control signal output from the monitoring circuit of the battery unit. Another switch means is prepared in the battery charger in order to control charging current which is transmitted to the battery unit from the battery charger.
