<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary cell in which an electrode assembly is induced to eject in a downward direction at a lower part by using a can with a notch part formed in vertical compression, so as to prevent short circuiting between electrodes. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium secondary cell includes an electrode assembly, a can in which an opening is formed at an upper part so as the electrode assembly is housed, which is structured of long sidewalls, a short sidewalls, and an underside plate, and with a notch part formed on each of the long sidewalls and short side walsl or the underside plate, and a cap assembly for sealing the opening of the can. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
