摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device capable of detecting the number of objects existing at an approximately equal relative distance mutually, without making the processing complex. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing part 10 calculates the reception time until receiving a reflected wave obtained, by reflecting a radiated electromagnetic wave by another vehicle imaged on an image imaged by a camera 101. Furthermore, the image processing part 10 calculates a relative distance to another vehicle, counts the number of other vehicles existing at an approximately same relative distance as the calculated relative distance, and associates the counted number with the calculated reception time. A radar processing part 11 compares the reception time of the reflected waves when correlation generates a peak value with a reception time calculated by the image processing part 10, while calculating the correlation between the radiated electromagnetic waves and the reflected wave, and specifies the number of other vehicles correlated with an approximately equal reception time.
