<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device capable of preventing a human hand from touching the terminal of a connector. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The connecting device has a head part 97 in which a power terminal part 93 and an insertion hole 83 to house the power terminal part 93 are formed, and has a charging part installed in a vehicle body and a terminal part for power to be connected to the power terminal part 93, and a connector installed detachably in the charging part. The head part 97 has an end face 97a exposed to the outside, and the insertion hole 83 extends so as to reach the opening portion located at the end face 97a, while the power terminal part 93 is retreated inside the head part 97 from the opening part so that a human hand may not touch.
