<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly arrange a vehicular auxiliary machine unit at the rear side of an instrument panel without producing any problem such as a reduction of a compartment space. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a front body structure of a vehicle, an engine room 1 and a compartment room 2 are defined by an instrument panel 3 in a forward and rearward direction of the vehicle and a power train unit 11 for use in driving wheels 15 is provided. The instrument panel 3 has a central cavity 5 becoming an arrangement part for the power train unit 11 and facing to the rear side of the vehicle body. A pair of right and left instrument panel sides 20, 21 extending from both right and left ends toward the outside of a vehicle width direction are formed. At the same time one instrument panel side 21 of both instrument panel sides 20, 21 is arranged to be offset toward the more front side of the vehicle than the other.
