A railway sleeper made of high density polyethylene comprises a high density polyethylene sleeper (1); said sleeper (1) is fused by an extruder of an automatic production line, reinforcing bars (2) are arranged in the sleeper (1) by an automatic compass mould, and reinforcements (3) made of steel wire are arranged in the sleeper (1) preliminarily, after finishing the setting of the reinforcing bars (2) and the reinforcements (3), the fused polyethylene material is squeezed in the forming mould to be formed when the forming mould production line is heated to 140-250 degree.
