<p>A method of casting an iron-based alloy in a semi-melted or semi-hardened state is provided which comprises: applying a lubricating releasant obtained by dispersing, in a solvent, particles constituted of one or more members selected from molybdenum disulfide, graphite, tungsten disulfide, boron nitride, chromium oxide, and boron oxide to the uppermost surface of part or all of the inner wall of a mold; and then using the mold to conduct casting.</p> |
