<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique allowing one audience to perform reproduction control of screen display without imparting trouble or an incongruity sense to another audience, in an information display using a large-size display allowing simultaneous viewing by an unspecified large number of persons. <P>SOLUTION: This control method for information display includes: a display control process for making different contents be continuously or intermittently displayed on a screen can display a character and/or an image according to a lapse of time; a process for deciding that an instruction to the screen is performed based on a signal from a detection part detecting contact or approach to the screen; and a related information generation process for generating related information related to display contents when the instruction is performed based on a decision result thereof. A computer executes each process.
