摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system which can attain handover between different access networks while shortening the processing time of handover. SOLUTION: A mobile communication system including a mobile terminal which can access a circuit switching network and a wireless broadband network comprises a node device which integrates a first gateway node for interconnecting the circuit switching network and an IP network, and a second gateway node for interconnecting a core network which accommodates the wireless broadband network and an external packet data network being connected via the IP network as one physical node. When a mobile terminal transits from one of the circuit switching network or the wireless broadband network to the other, the destination nodes in the first gateway node and the second gateway node assign the end point identification information of a call connection path managed by the destination node as the end point identification information of a new call connection path at the destination node.
