PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently collect toner adhering to a secondary transfer belt, because the toner projecting from transfer material adheres to a secondary transfer belt during secondary transfer in a margin-less print mode in which a toner image is formed to the end of a transfer body. SOLUTION: A brush roller that collects the toner adhering to the secondary transfer belt is arranged around the secondary transfer belt. In the margin-less print mode, rotational speed of a brush roller is increased when the toner image is secondarily transferred to the transfer material and when an area of the secondary transfer belt corresponding to a leading edge or trailing edge side of the transfer material is opposed to a cleaning device.
