PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for electrochemical elements capable of increasing output density by reducing electron movement resistance and internal resistance in an electrochemical element, and to provide an electrochemical element using the electrode. SOLUTION: In the electrode for electrochemical elements, an electrode composition layer is formed on a collector via a conductive adhesive layer including carbon fiber and a binding agent. In this case, the minor axis number average diameter of carbon fiber is 0.001-50 μm, and the aspect ratio is preferably 5-100,000.
