The invention relates to a motor vehicle seat headrest (1) comprising a stiffening insert (2) for connection to the back of said seat, said stiffening insert being in the general shape of an inverted U, the upper part (3) of which is bent forward in such a way as to be inscribed in a plane essentially parallel to the plane defined by the lower parts of the arms (4) of the U, said headrest being characterized in that it also comprises: a rigid front shell (5) covering the bent part of the U, said shell comprising a front face (6) and a rear face (7), the latter having means (8) of connection to said stiffening insert; a blank (9) of covering material joined by fixing means to said front shell over said front face; and a block (10) of elastic material between said blank and said front face. |
