CONNECTION METHOD, CONNECTION TOOL, AND CONNECTION JIG FOR OPTICAL FIBER

An optical fiber connection tool comprises a holder support base for supporting an optical connector which holds one of a pair of optical fibers and an optical fiber holder which holds the other of the optical fibers.  The one optical fiber comprises a tilted front end surface.  The holder support base comprises a guide part for guiding the optical fiber holder in the direction approaching the optical connector.  After the front end surface of the other optical fiber is diagonally worked while the optical fiber holder is placed on the holder loading base of a front end inclination working machine, the optical fiber holder is transferred to the holder support base, and moved toward the optical connector along the guide part.  Consequently, the front end surface of the other optical fiber is so abutted on and connected to the front end surface of the one optical fiber that the inclination directions thereof match each other.
