PURPOSE: A marketing system using video contents and a method thereof are provided to enable a CP(Contents Provider) to offer video contents including product information on a PPL(Product Placement) advertisement product to a consumer, so that the consumer can confirm the product information in real time. CONSTITUTION: A sales server(300) demands a PPL advertisement for a sales product. The sales server provides product information on the product. A video making server(400) creates a video. The video includes the PPL advertisement on the demanded product. A contents providing server(200) encodes the video by recognizing product coordinates of the product in the video. The contents providing server provides a reproduction program and video contents inserted with the product information.
