ILLUMINATING DEVICE

An illuminating device using light sources to realize various kinds of illumination in a wide range. Light (La) from a first light source enters from an end surface of a light guide film (24), propagates inside the light guide film (24), and illuminates a wide area of the first illuminating regions (2a, 2b).  A second illuminating region (3) is provided at a position which is inside the first illuminating regions (2a, 2b) and within a region of propagation of the light (La).  In the second illuminating region (3), light (Lb) from a second light source (14) enters the inside of the light guide film (24) from the rear surface (24c) thereof and is emitted upward.  The structure allows the second illuminating region (3) to be illuminated by an intermediate portion between the first illuminating regions (2a, 2b).
