PURPOSE: An oil pressure controlling device of an automatic transmission is provided to control a piston stroke of a second frictional element after conversion of a conversion valve, thereby flowing large flux for the second frictional element. CONSTITUTION: A frictional coupling element consists of a first frictional element, a second frictional element, and a third frictional element. The first frictional element is released for a first gear shift. The second frictional element is released for the first gear shift, and is coupled for a second gear shift. A third frictional element is released for the second gear shift. A pressure control valve(39) controls operating oil pressure to the second frictional element. Conversion units(40,41) block oil pressure supplied to the second frictional element, when the first frictional element is coupled. |
