PURPOSE: An energy saving tire is provided to save the energy by converting vertical vibration applied to the tread by a concavo-convex on the road into the rotary force. CONSTITUTION: An energy saving tire is composed of a tread(140), an elastic member(160), and a groove(180). The tread is formed along a circumferential surface(120) of a tire(100) in the contact pattern. The elastic member is formed between the circumferential surface and the each thread of the tire. The groove is formed between front and rear treads so that the tread is exposed.
