PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion base for virtual reality motion simulator wherein all the three-degree-of-freedom rotation around a central pivot joint is embodied to create vigorous movements that can be visually realized so that a user feels more thrilling sense of motion. SOLUTION: A first and a second vertical actuators 150 and 160 are adopted so that three-degree-of-freedom rotation around a central pivot joint 130 is possible and, by selectively changing the distance between the installation points of a support frame 110 whereon the first and the second vertical actuators 150 and 160 are provided and a movable frame 120, the drifting property and range of the movable frame 120 are changed so that a user on the movable frame 120 can feel more sense of motion.
