PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize generation of a measurement error in the environment of the temperature of measured gas largely changing. SOLUTION: This gas sensor element 1 is constituted of a measured gas chamber 150, a detecting cell 3 for detecting the specific gas concentration in the measured gas, an oxygen pump cell 2 for pumping oxygen gas to the measured gas chamber 150, and at least one guide path 100 provided on the surface of the oxygen pump cell 2 to guide the measured gas to the measured gas chamber 150. The surface of the oxygen pump cell 2 is faced to the outside of the gas sensor element 1, and a porous diffusion resistance layer 10 is provided to cover the surface of the oxygen pump cell 2 provided with the guide path 100. |
