<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance method of a biosensor device capable of performing surely and easily maintenance of the biosensor device, and shortening greatly a working time, and an exchange unit of the biosensor device used for the maintenance method. <P>SOLUTION: This unit is formed from a flow cell having a passage for a sample liquid and its flow inlet and outlet; an immobilization membrane arranged so as to be in contact with the sample liquid flowing in the passage, for immobilizing a microbe or an enzyme; and an electrochemical transducer arranged so that a change caused by a reaction between the immobilization membrane and the sample liquid can be detected, and each unit is exchanged when exchanging the immobilization membrane.
