PURPOSE: A power train of a hybrid vehicle is provided to excellently secure the power performance and fuel efficiency and to improve the mounting efficiency by reducing the weight with simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A power train of a hybrid vehicle is composed of a first planetary gear device(5), a second planetary gear device(11), a first brake(13), a second brake(15), and a clutch(17). A first motor generator(1) and an output shaft(3) are respectively connected to different elements in the first planetary gear device. An engine(7), a second motor generator(9), and an output shaft are respectively connected to different elements in the second planetary gear device. The first brake fixes the element except elements of the first planetary gear device connected to the first motor generator and the output shaft. The second brake fixes the elements of the second planetary gear device connected to the second motor generator. The clutch revolves and restricts between the elements of the first planetary gear device connected to the first brake and the elements of the second planetary gear device connected to the second brake.
