METHOD FOR PREVENTING A THERMAL POWER PLANT COAL SILO PLUGGING

PURPOSE: A method for preventing the jamming of a coal silo equipped with a thermoelectric power plant is provided to prevent the output cutback of a thermoelectric power plant to minimize unnecessary loss, thereby reducing the cost. CONSTITUTION: In order to prevent the jamming of the coal silo of a thermoelectric power plant, factors which causes the jamming of the coal silo are inputted(ST100). In order to prevent the jamming of the coal silo, PI(Plugging Index) is calculated through the inputted factors(ST200). The driving of the thermoelectric power plant is controlled based on the calculated PI(ST300). A fine coal particle content, the moisture content of a coal surface, and wet coal containing moisture by precipitation are used as the factors.
