<p>In a process to manufacture a valve housing forming part of an automobile, a metal profile is extruded as an essentially rectangular bar profile with side-ribs (15, 16, 17, 18) in which the inlet (27, 29) and outlet (28, 30) passages begin. The inlets and outlets have tapped threads. The ribs (18) are machined to peg shape and have an external cut thread (32). In an alternative embodiment the passages terminate in hose fittings. Further claimed is a commensurate automotive valve housing.</p> |
