<p>The engine (S) has operating cylinders (1) and compression cylinders (3) for utilizing a heat source e.g. solar heater, with a low to medium temperature heat i.e. 70 to 250 degree Celsius, for a heat transfer medium circulating in the engine. The operating and compression cylinders are crosswisely arranged such that the operating and compression cylinders are opposite to each other and the operating cylinders stay perpendicular to the compression cylinders. Each operating cylinder and each compression cylinder comprise an operating piston (2) and a compression piston respectively. An independent claim is also included for a power generation system with a generator and an alpha type stirling engine.</p> |
