PURPOSE: An odor backflow prevention device is provided to remove smell efficiently by sending smell flowed backward to indoor to a smell discharging unit. CONSTITUTION: An odor backflow prevention device comprises a smell discharging unit(1), a cross-flow fan(3), a housing, an impeller, a motor assembly, and a guide part. The smell discharging unit arranged in an indoor ceiling is composed of a hood(5), an air suction fan(7), and an air discharging pipe(9). The housing separated from the smell discharging unit in a specific distance in the indoor ceiling has an inlet and an outlet. The impeller installed inside of the housing inhales and discharges air through the inlet and the outlet. The motor assembly rotates the impeller. The guide part has a curved plate which guides air by being connected with the outlet, and a connecting plate extended from the end part of the curved plate. An inner angle comprised of tangent lines of the connecting plate and the curved plate is an obtuse angle.
