PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems with mooring a leash cord around a boat seat as falling overboard prevention measures of a rower of a hand-rowing marine boat, wherein, for example, the rower who fell in the water when the boat is rolled by waves is dragged by the boat, the rower is entangled with a drift-stop of a paddle and the freedom of action is limited. SOLUTION: As the long leash cord is fixed with a foot of the rower with a foot strap 5 and moored with a stern with a stern mooring metal tool 1, if the rower fell into the water, both the rower and the boat become unlikely to be dragged, an urethane cord 4 becomes unlikely to be entangled with the drift-stop of the paddle, free action is enabled by the long cord, re-boarding from a rear deck can be easily conducted and load of the rower can be reduced. However, as lengthened and moored with the stern of the boat, the leash cord becomes likely to entangled with a rudder. To cope with this, the cord is floated by a float 2 so that the cord becomes unlikely to be entangled with the rudder. To cope with the long leash which may become an obstacle, as taking the seat, the cord is tensed by a spring part 3 to prevent the cord from becoming an obstacle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
