New pharmaceutical compositions (A) contain effective amounts of a sympathomimetic agent (or its salt) (I) suitable for topical administration and showing vasoconstrictive and/or mucosal swelling reducing action and a (preferably acidic) glycosaminoglycan (or its salt or derivative) (II). - ACTIVITY : Antiallergic; Antiinflammatory. - MECHANISM OF ACTION : Sympathomimetic.
