PURPOSE: A screw for a hard disk drive and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to fastening force and minimize failure rate by deleting the guide part of a screw. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a screw for a hard disk drive comprises followings. Materials provided to a wire are forged and a head part is forged and cut(S20). A screw part is molded on the outer circumference of the body in which the head part is formed by fixed/moving dies(S30). The materials are cut by a cutting edge formed on the fixed/moving dies(S40).
