PURPOSE:To operate so as to work in accordance with the environment and the preference by providing contact points respectively in the signal line led from a gas sensor and in the signal line led from a particle sensor, and connecting these contact points with the motor control circuits of a fan motor through the changing over switch connecting these contact points in an alternative way. CONSTITUTION:In the air cleaner which sucks the air from the outside of the cleaner through a suction port by driving of the fan motor 1 and blows the air to the outside through a blowing opening after cleaning the air by a cleaning means, the pollution of air is detected by the sensors to drive the fan motor 1. As for the sensors, the gas sensor 6 detecting smoke, odor, etc., and the particle sensor 7 detecting the particle of dust, etc., are used. In the signal lines 11, 12 led from these sensors 6, 7 there are respectively provided contact points 13, 14, 17. These signal lines are connected with the motor control circuit 2 of the fan motor 1 through the changing over switch 4 connecting these contact points in a alternative way. As a result, the air cleaner is operated so as to work in accordance with the using environment or the preference of user. |
