<p>PURPOSE:To surely dehumidify compressed air with high efficiency by injecting compressed air spirally rotated at a superhigh speed and radiating the air contg. impurities such as water and oil against the inner wall surface of the inner shell from a gap to deposit the impurities on the inner wall surface. CONSTITUTION:The outer shell 1 is provided with an inlet 3 for compressed air, passages 5 and 6 for the clean compressed air dehumidified and freed of oil and dust, an outlet 4 and a port 13 for discharging the water, etc., to the outside of the device, and the inner shell 2 is set in the outer shell 1 to pass the compressed air to the outlet 4. A needle valve-shaped valve part 30 and its seat 31 are provided to the inner shell 2, and the gap 32 for spirally rotating the air introduced from the inlet 3 and passing the air below the valve part 30 is furnished between the periphery of the valve part 30 and the inner periphery of the seat 31. Furthermore, a gap 35 is formed around the tip 34 of the valve part 30 to inject the compressed air into the inner shell 2 while positioning the tip 34 in the opening 33 of the seat 31.</p> |
