<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the degradation in the picture quality due to correction by providing a block replacing means replacing a missed block with a block selected by a discrimination means. CONSTITUTION:A block transmitted or inputted after recording and reproduction is inputted to a one-page delay section 1, and a correction discrimination section 2 discriminates whether or not a block outputted from the one-page delay section 1 is missed as the result of error correction or error detection. When it is discriminated to be missed, the block after one page and the block in one preceding page outputted from a one-page delay section 4 are compared and it is discriminated for which of them the data content is close. Then the output of the one-page delay section 1 is selected by a switch 3 when the data is not missed and the page block selected by the correction discrimination section 2 is selected in the case of discrimination of missing and the block is outputted via the one-page delay section 4. Thus, the degradation in the picture quality due to correction is minimized.</p> |
