PURPOSE:To improve the fixing precision and the fixing strength by inserting and holding elastically the upper and the lower faces of a center base part of the lower stopper whose cross section is roughly an H-type having a forked part piece on both sides, holding them so as to conform to a space part being on a transfer path of a slide fastener, and holding normally the attitude of the lower stopper. CONSTITUTION:A movable block 12 and an expansion opening piece 15 are drawn up, respectively, and one piece of lower stopper 20 is supplied into an opposed void (h) to the upper inserting/holding piece 41 and the lower inserting/holding piece 31. Subsequently, the expansion opening piece 15 descends and its wedge-like tip is inserted between inside edge parts d1, d2 of left and right fastener tapes T1, T2 of a space part S, its opposed gap is expanded and opened, and also, the movable block 12 descends, the center base part of the lower stopper 20 is inserted and held elastically between the upper inserting/holding piece 41 an the lower inserting/holding piece 31 by compression springs 51, 52, and it is positioned in the expanded and opened space part S. Next, when the expansion opening piece 15 is drawn upward, the inside edge parts d1, d2 of the expanded and opened fastener tapes are restored and fitted into a forked part piece of the lower stopper 20. Thereafter, the lower punch 4 ascends, and as for the lower stopper 20, the upper and the lower faces of the forked part side of both sides are pressed between the upper and the lower punches 1, 4, and it is clamped. |
