PURPOSE:To facilitate joining of a metal tool for fitting to the outer circumferential part of a header by arranging projecting part for positioning the metal tool on the outer circumferential part of the header, engaging an engaging part provided on the metal tool for integrally fitting to the projecting part by brazing. CONSTITUTION:Plural tubes 1 and corrugated fins 2 are alternately set, both ends of each tube 1 are connected with hollow headers 3, 4 and the fitting metals 6 are arranged on the outer circumferential parts of these headers 3, 4. Then, on the outer circumferential parts of headers 3, 4, the projecting part 5 for positioning the metal tool is arranged and the metal tool 6 for fitting is formed as L-shaped cross section, and an one side part is formed, as a seat part 16 brought into contact with the outer circumferential part of the headers 3, 4 and provided with fitting holes 19 corresponding to the projecting part 5 and the other side part is formed as a bracket part 17 for fitting. In this constitution, the fitting holes 19 in the seat part 16 are fitted to the projecting part 5 in the headers 3, 4 to position the metal tool 6 for fitting and the soldering in the furnace is executed to integrate them. By this method, arranging work for the metal tool 6 for fitting is easily executed. |
