PURPOSE: A face detection system is provided to detect the state of negligent front viewing of a face using a near-infrared image, thereby improving detection performance of the state of negligent front viewing. CONSTITUTION: The first lighting unit(110) and the second lighting unit(120) apply an infrared ray to the left side and the right side of the face of an operator. An image photographing unit(200) respectively photographs each of the left side and the right side of the face of the operator. A controller(300) obtains right and left images of the face. The controller decides the state of negligent front viewing of the operator.
