PURPOSE: Probe pins and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to transfer stable electric signals through identical impedance by forming an upper contact portion, an elastic portion and a lower contact portion integrally. CONSTITUTION: A probe pin(1) includes an upper contact portion formed at an upper portion of the probe pin and a lower contact portion formed at a lower portion of the probe pin. An external connecting terminal is connected to the upper contact portion. The lower contact portion is elastically coupled with the upper contact portion An elastic portion(4) having a shape of a coil is formed between the upper contact portion and the lower contact portion. The upper contact portion and the lower contact portion are integrally formed. The lower contact portion is formed of a tube having a cylindrical shape. The elastic portion is bent within the lower contact portion. The upper contact portion is protruded toward an upper side of the lower contact portion. The end portion of the elastic portion is connected to the lateral surface of the lower contact portion.
