PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration isolation device A having increased durability by pre-compression added to rubber elastic parts 22 and 32 and manufacturable at a low cost and a method of manufacturing the vibration isolation device. SOLUTION: A plurality of cylindrical bushes 2 and 3 are disposed at specified positions in an annular bracket 1 and a partition member 4 is inserted between the cylindrical bushes 2 and 3 adjacent to each other to provide the pre-compression to the rubber elastic parts 22 and 32 of the cylindrical bushes 2 and 3.
