PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead frame that can suppress the forming of burr as much as possible when an inner lead and a tape are cut out at the same time and prevent defective bonding in the inner lead to which a tape is adhered to its end, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: Prior to a double-sided tape sticking step (S6), a crushing area that is smaller in thickness than other parts of an inner lead is formed by pressing step (S3) in a part including the tip of the inner lead as a cutting position in a cutting step (S7) out of sticking faces of the tip of the inner lead to be adhered by the double-side tape. Thus, the adhesion layer of the double-side tape can be prevented as much as possible from partial melting due to pressing pressure and protruding around the tip of the inner lead during heating and crimping.
