PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a communication terminal which has a PPP connecting function to an IP network having access points of wireless LANs in a communicable state. SOLUTION: A network connection repeating device has a serial connection section 5 which makes a PPP connection of the communication terminal 1 having the PPP connecting function, a wireless LAN connection section 6 which forms and connects wireless LANs 200, 201, and 201 to access points 101, 111, and 121 of the wireless LANs, and a control section 7 which performs control for connecting a communication line between the communication terminal 1 and serial connection section 5 in response to a line connection command from the communication terminal 1, specifies an access point as a connection destination based upon a connection destination specified with the line connection command, performs control for connecting the access point as the specified connection destination and the wireless LAN connection section 6 to each other, and controls transmission and reception of data between the serial connection section 5 and the wireless LAN connection section 6.
