#CMT# #/CMT# The accessory (1) has a single block part with an orifice for passage of a spring hook, where the part is made of metal, metal alloy or synthetic material. Another orifice (3) permits passage of two strands of a cord (C), and a slit (4). A boss (5) is arranged between the former orifice and a lower end of the slit, where the boss extends transversally at a surface of the part and increases thickness of the part from a value that is equal to diameter of the strand. The boss forms a return element to return the cord to the surface to manually unblock the strand coinciding in the slit. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Accessory for belaying and descending on a simple or double cord for practicing sport and professional activities e.g. climbing, mountaineering, canoying, speleology, aerial hiking and acrobatic works. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The boss forms the return element to return the cord to the surface to manually unblock the strand coinciding in the slit, thus permitting the user to unblock the cord with a single hand without losing balance and without loosening the cord while permitting to adjust and control the braking of the cord during the descent without using any mechanical device.
