PURPOSE: A composition is provided to ensure excellent chiral selectivity to various chiral materials, especially, various flavanone, to be fixed on a stationary phase such as an moving phase additive and silicon, and to facilitate separation of enantiomers of chiral materials. CONSTITUTION: A composition for separating enantiomers of chiral materials comprises linear octasaccharides, electrolyte and buffer solution. A method for separating enantiomers of chiral materials comprises the steps of: manufacturing linear octasaccharides; mixing the prepared linear octasaccharides with electrolyte and buffer solution to prepare a chiral selector-containing buffer solution; and adding a racemic mixture of the chiral material to the chiral selector-containing buffer solution and then electrophoresing it. |
