PURPOSE: A tilting pad journal bearing with a detachable seal tooth is provided to reduce time to replace and install a seal tooth on a bearing case by detachably attaching the seal tooth on a bearing case. CONSTITUTION: A tilting pad journal bearing with a detachable seal tooth comprises a bearing pad(202), a seal tooth(203), a groove part, and a through-hole. The bearing pad is installed between the inner circumference of a bearing case(200) and the outer circumference of a rotor. The seal tooth is formed at the inner circumference of a projection(204) of the bearing case. The groove part mounts the seal tooth on the inner circumference of the bearing case projection. A plurality of through-holes are formed in the columnar direction of the seal tooth. A coupling hole is formed on the side of the bearing case.
