PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for acquiring uplink transmission timing in a wireless mobile communication are provided to transmit an accurate uplink data at an accurate point by obtaining the uplink transmission point based on a TA(Time Adjust) accumulation value and an RFG(Real Time Generation) counter in an LTE(Long Term Evolution) system. CONSTITUTION: Uplink resource allocation information is received from a BS(Base Station)(501), and uplink data transmission point is calculated through the usage of an RTG(Real Time Generation) counter that indicates downlink time. The current uplink point is calculated through the usage of the RTG counter and the TA(Time Adjust) accumulated value indicating the time difference between the downlink and the uplink(503). When the transmission point of the uplink data is identical to the current uplink time, the register for transmitting uplink data is set up based on the resource allocation information(509).
