PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a part mounting system equipped with a plurality of unit mounting machines in which a larger substrate can be mounted by removing the restriction on maximum size based on the length of the unit mounting machine in the transfer direction. SOLUTION: Each unit mounting machine 1 is set with a mounting work position where the entirety of a large substrate P falls within the mounting range H of a head unit 6, and the large substrate P is positioned at the mounting position by means of a retractable mounting stopper 4a and stopped thereat. A waiting position is set to straddle the boundary of two adjacent unit mounting machines 1, 1 in the up/down system, and the large substrate P is positioned at the waiting position by means of a retractable waiting stopper 4b and stopped thereat. A controller 100 provided for each unit mounting machine controls retraction of both stoppers 4a, 4b and operation of a transfer means 3 synchronized therewith. |
