PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high quality color image or the like by improving the quality of an image formed by effectively lowering a shading, and by suppressing uneven density and uneven tint of the image in a tandem type scanning optical system. SOLUTION: The tandem type scanning optical device is equipped with a scanning optical system which deflects a light flux emitted from a light source 1 by an optical deflector 4 and forms a scanning line on a surface to be scanned via first light scanning optical systems 5, 5A, 5B, 5C and second light scanning optical systems 12, 12A, 12B, 12C, and a plurality of groups of photosensitive bodies 9, 9A, 9B, 9C arranged corresponding to these scanning optical systems, and is used for multiplex printing on one sheet. The angle in the subscanning direction by deflection of the light flux from the light source is made smaller than 40 deg.. At least one of reflection members 6, 6A, 6B, 6C, 7, 7A, 7B, 7C, etc., of which the antireflection film is monolayer, is arranged between the deflection/ reflection surface of the optical deflector 4 and the surface to be scanned with an incident angle of 45 deg. or smaller. |
