<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a semiconductor integrated circuit which is compatible in both high speed and low power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit has a logic circuit 902 and a substrate-bias control circuit 903. After the logic circuit is transferred to a low-power mode in response to the execution of an instruction, the input to the logic circuit is controlled not to be changed, and after the logic circuit is transferred to a high-speed mode in response to an interrupt, the operation starts after the substrate bias voltages applied to the MOSFETs of the logic circuit are stabilized to prescribed levels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
