PURPOSE: An automatic brightness control device is provided to maintain optimum state of a display panel by actively controlling the brightness of the display panel in accordance with the surrounding light quantity. CONSTITUTION: An LED(light emitting diode) module(10) is composed of pixel arrays each having one or multiple light emitting devices. A control unit(30) turns on or off each pixels in the LED module and displays specific characters, symbols and graphics. A light amount sensor(40) detects light amount in the vicinity of a display panel. A secondary control unit(50) differentially controls the brightness of the display panel in accordance with surrounding light amount of the display panel which was inputted from the light amount sensor. The light amount sensor and the secondary control unit form a pair of an assembling kit. |
